Overlapping CU Courses
The following Columbia courses can be taken in lieu of Barnard courses to complete NSB major requirements. Students who take one of these courses cannot also earn credit for the equivalent course.
Note that all NSB majors must take 5 core neuroscience courses. At least 3 of the 5 required core courses must be taken in the Barnard College NSB department. Columbia courses do not count as Barnard courses. Core neuroscience courses are marked with an asterisk (*) in the table below.
